wishing you would call
wondering what I’d say

A chance to talk
a chance to sit
a desire to hold you

Sitting in the Dark
wishing you were here
how would I react

Try too hard
Ask for too much
never having a chance

Sitting in the Dark
staring at the screen
lost….

For Having Been in Love with You

]]> Heart is aching
it just won’t stop
emotions I haven’t felt
since I was young.

I long to please
I long to hold
you in my arms

My life is full
of empty things
just passing the time

Staying busy
keeps me deaf
when I’m alone
my heart screams for you

I feel so pathetic
so lost in my life
lost in my love of you

Some day I will be
able to move on
that much I know is true

I will grow and rejoice
in the life that I have
for my life is so much richer
for having been in love with you

When you find your soul mate

From one extreme to the other
Be Thankful

Everyday you can live and breathe
Be Thankful

Remember the past
Be Thankful

Dream of the future
Be Thankful

Live for today and

As the new sun rises

Patiently waiting

Bringing us together

The days move along

Draw You a Picture

]]> Working my way
Through the daily grind
Smiles returning
Once so hard to find

New friendship found
Sharing so much
Life falling into place
The heart’s gentle touch

Teetering on the line
Not wanting to cross
Opening my heart
Chancing the loss

Moving too fast
In my heart of hearts
Mind keeps me steady
Using my smarts

I can’t call it off
It’s too late for me now
No more acting left
It’s time for the final bow

Cryptic and obvious
What more can I do
Draw you a picture
“I’ve fallen for you”
