This blog is dedicated to the question “does true love exist?”  I have been writing love poetry off and on for since I was in High School.  Writing poetry has become a therapy for me during some tough emotional times.  It has helped me deal with the emotional issues that can control so many aspects of our lives.
Writing poetry is currently helping me through my separation with my wife.  I am hopeful to track progress is my emotions as well as in the quality of my poetry.  I hope this may be helpful to others in the future if you too are experiencing a similar hurt.  This has been a long journey and I am really only in the middle of it.

I really believe that true love does exist although all to often we miss the signs.  This site does not offer any advice, just the optimistic belief that one day everyone will be able to experience true love.

Currently I am posting my poetry here anonymously.  If the poem is from someone else I will give complete credit to where I found the poem and whom the author is if known.

I will not use this forum to air dirty laundry, nor will I used this site to bad-mouth anyone.  That is not who I am.  So many web sites are all about the “ME”.  I hope to keep this site all about the words and emotions.  My hope is that visitors to this site can read the poems and see how the words might fit their lives and hopefully help them see things more clearly.

Life is not about me; it is not about us.  It is about the journey and every interaction we have along that journey.  All anyone can do is control how they respond to each of the daily interactions.  In the end, that is how we are defined. That is who we are.
