At the Edge
Once again,
I’m at the edge
Thinking of how
To end the pain
Not sure how I can live
With how things have turned out
The shame and the pain
Too deep to heal
Trying to understand
But more lost than ever
Mind wandering where
it should not go
How to proceed
What to do next
Standing at the edge
Looking into the abyss
Wondering if the lifeline
Will reach me in time
